Disney goes tekkie
The gimmick
Disney tries to spook us through our iPhones with its augmented reality Halloween iPhone app.
Download the Disney Spook Scope app and point your phone at any of the augmented reality markers in the theme park to see animations of ghosts and zombies pop up on your iPhone screen.
Visitors will be given paper masks with augmented reality markers on them so when you point your iPhone at someone wearing those masks it looks like the zombies are popping out of their faces.
Try the app out at an ongoing Disney display at Langham Place.
