Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival 2012

Hong Kong, Asia’s world city, is hosting another vibrant epicurean feast with splendid wines and delicacies this year at the 4th Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival at the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade from 1 to 4 November 2012.

Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, this annual event has achieved instant worldwide recognition since its inaugural year in 2009, when it was named by ForbesTraveler.com as one of the top 10 international food and wine festivals. This year, the Festival will treat visitors once again with the best wine, cuisine, live music and entertainment set against one of the world’s most iconic cityscapes.

Wine Passes and Wine Tokens

Entrance to the American Express Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival is free. For wine tasting, the following wine passes and wine tokens are required:

Riedel Grand Tasting PavilionPackage: Grand Wine Pass: HK$480 each
This pass consists of five Grand Wine Tokens for wine tasting and a few gift or discount offers. It also includes a Riedel wine glass with glass pouch. The Grand Wine Pass is valid on its designated date only.Standalone tasting token: Grand Wine Token: HK$50 each
Wine Booths (except booths in Riedel Grand Tasting Pavilion)Package: Classic Wine Pass: HK$200
This pass consists of 10 Classic Wine Tokens for wine tasting at any Classic Wine Booth inside the venue and a few gift or discount offer tokens. It also includes a Stölzle wine glass with a glass pouch.Package: Classic Wine Pass for 2: HK$300
This pass consists of 15 Classic Wine Tokens for wine tasting at any Classic Wine Booth inside the venue and a few gift or discount offer tokens. It comes with two Stölzle wine glasses with wine glass pouches.
Standalone tasting token: Classic Wine Token: HK$10 each
Sweet PavilionSweet Pavilion Pass: HK$20 per person (for admission and can be used as HK$20 token for purchases inside).
OthersPlastic glass: HK$5 each
Food and non-alcoholic beverages: Various prices.

How to get there : Take the MTR to the event. A free shuttle bus service will be provided from MTR Kowloon or East Tsim Sha Tsui stations . It’s about a 10-minute walk from MTR Kowloon Station to the venue.
