To express deep condolences to the victims of the vessel collision incident off Lamma Island, the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, has marked 4 October, 2012 as a day of condolence.

A government spokesman announced that Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) flags on all government buildings will be flown at half-mast for 3 days from 4 October, 2012 to 6 October, 2012.

Noting the half-mast arrangements by the HKSAR Government in memory of the victims of the vessel collision incident off Lamma Island, the State Council has advised the HKSAR Government that the National Flags displayed at all HKSAR government offices and Central People’s Government offices in the HKSAR will be flown at half-mast for three consecutive days.
