Critter spottings in Yokohama's Sankeien Garden

The largest spider I saw in Japan was pretty 

and colorful but not even half the size of 

the largest spider I've seen in Hong Kong ;b





At Sankeien Garden, the pond surface was downright glittery

at times -- but the terrapins that were among the pond's

regular residents didn't seem to mind ;)





I'm not certain what insect's exoskeleton this is but 

I definitely did spot plenty of
